About Pies & Peas 5 Miles
Taking place on Wednesday 5 August 2026, the Pie & Peas 5 Miles is organised by Vale Royal Athletics Club and starts from the playing fields behind the Royal British Legion in Moulton, between Northwich and Winsford in Cheshire. The 5-mile route is a single lap combining road and multi-terrain sections with undulating terrain, offering runners aged 15 and above a varied local challenge.
The event includes competitive categories for open male and female runners, age groups from U20 through to V80+, and team awards. A traditional pie and peas supper follows the race, with meat, cheese and onion, vegan and gluten-free options available to all entrants. Numbers are collected on the night.
