Those seeking a swift evening trail run will find ideal conditions at this riverside double-header in Leeds. The 5K and 10K races take place on 28 October 2026 along the Trans Pennine Trail beside the River Aire, using a flat out-and-back course that combines riverside paths, public footpaths and tarmac sections. The 5K heads along the river before turning near Thwaite Mills, whilst the 10K repeats this route to complete the longer distance.
Both races finish at the Piglove By The River base, where finishers receive a drink from Piglove Brewery. As an evening event, headtorches are required. The flat terrain and well-maintained paths provide fast conditions for runners of varying abilities.
