About Pilgrim 6
Pilgrim 6 takes place on 31 October 2026, an off-road endurance event centred on Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons. The 32 km trail course involves approximately 1800 m of ascent across three separate ascents of Pen y Fan, each using different routes so no ascent is repeated.
Participants choose between the Classic Fell Race category or a Weighted Category, in which runners carry a 16 kg pack of their own making. Navigation is the responsibility of runners, with a GPX file provided before the event and the route itself unmarked. Safety marshals are positioned at control points including Pen y Fan Summit, Cribyn Summit and a water station at Story Arms, where participants must report in. The event runs from the Pilgrim 6 Start/Finish Point near Libanus. Age limits are 18 to 60 years.
