About Podfather Stirling 10K
The Peak in Stirling provides the backdrop for the Podfather Stirling 10K, held on 6 September 2026. The traditional road course takes in views of Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills, and has built a reputation for fast times. Distances of 2 km, 3.5 km and 10 km cater to runners of varying abilities, with pacers available for target times between 40 and 60 minutes.
The event welcomes all runners regardless of pace, with support throughout the course including a piper positioned near the Wallace Monument, cheerleading at the 1.5 km and 8.5 km marks, and music along the route. Finishers receive a goody bag, and free massage is available at the start and finish area. An instructor-led warm-up precedes the race, whilst children's entertainment including bouncy castles and face painting runs alongside the event.
