About Post Hill Challenge
Post Hill has long been known as a challenging climb for motorbike enthusiasts, and this trail race puts it centre stage. The Post Hill Challenge covers 5.6 km of off-road running across the trail paths of Post Hill, featuring two ascents of the famous hill climb itself. Sections of the course are muddy and slippery, particularly on the hill, so fell shoes or aggressive trail footwear are recommended.
Taking place on 8 November 2026, the event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules. Race headquarters is at Troydale Social Club on Troydale Grove in Pudsey, with the start and finish in a nearby arena about a 15-minute walk away. The race welcomes runners aged 16 and above. Parking is marshalled on Troydale Road, and toilets are available at Race HQ.
