About Pretty Muddy Cornwall
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Cornwall is a 5km obstacle event taking place on 8 May 2027 at Stithians Showground. Participants navigate a course over gravel paths and grassy terrain, tackling obstacles at their own pace with staggered waves departing at 15 minute intervals. The course starts and finishes on grass, with marshals positioned throughout to offer assistance.
The event is open to participants aged 13 and over. Free parking is available in a large field accessed from Tubbon Hill, with designated blue badge parking on grass approximately 100 metres from the site. The 36 bus stops at the showground entrance, and Perranwell train station is around 4.2 miles away. Toilets and refreshments are available on site. The terrain may become soft or muddy in wet weather, and the uneven grass start and finish areas make the event unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
