Runners can choose between a 1 km, 5 km or 10 km trail route at the Pumpkin Run, taking place on Sunday 27 September 2026 at Bullbanks Farm in Eight Ash Green, Colchester. The courses wind through open countryside and scenic fields on traffic-free farm tracks, described as mostly flat, passing pumpkins and a pumpkin corn trail along the way.
The 10 km is open to runners aged 14 and over, the 5 km to those 11 and over, and the 1 km to all ages (children under 6 need to be accompanied). An event village operates on site with the Field of Fun, a bouncy castle and refreshments available. On-site parking is within a one-minute walk of the event village, and Bus Route 88 serves the venue.
