About Punk Panthers Ripon Stinger
A 20-mile trail run through the valleys and gardens around Ripon, the Stinger follows the Ripon Rowel on 15 May 2027. Based at Studley Roger Village Hall, the route winds past Fountains Abbey, the designed landscapes of Studley Water gardens, and the River Skell's Valley of the Seven Bridges, with views across to St Margaret's Church and Hackfall woods.
Checkpoints are positioned along the course providing water, sports drinks and snacks. Participants can arrange to hire a GPS tracker, and provisional route information including GPX files and descriptions will be made available ahead of the event. The minimum age is 18, with a maximum of 200 entrants. Registration takes place at the village hall on the morning of the race.
