About Quantock Hills Half Marathon
This trail half marathon takes runners through the Quantock Hills over terrain that combines forest paths, open moorland and quiet country lanes. The 13.1-mile course includes climbs and rolling hills, with the challenge of uneven ground, stiles and gates. Stream crossings using stepping stones or log balances add to the technical nature of the route.
Held on 4 October 2026, the event starts at Kilve Court near Bridgewater, Somerset. Marshals and clear signage guide participants around the course, with two fully stocked feed stations positioned along the way. The event is recognised as a UTMB index race and is open to runners aged 18 and over.
