About Rabbit Run Wales
Rabbit Run Wales takes runners into the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve on the South Wales coast, where the 12 km trail route winds through dunes and coastal terrain on the private grounds of the Merthyr Mawr Estate. The course is a challenging mix of hills and valleys with varied underfoot surfaces, punctuated by a river crossing and culminating in a descent down the Big Dipper, Wales's highest sand dune.
The event is organised in partnership by the Merthyr Mawr Estate and Run 4 Wales and takes place on 17 July 2027, starting from the Kings Head in Bridgend.
