Race Dunvegan takes place on 20 March 2027 at Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye, offering 5 km and 10 km trail races through the castle's private grounds and estate woodlands. Runners start in the castle grounds and pass through varied terrain including woodland sections and partially open public roads.
The event operates manual timing recorded by marshals, with results posted to Webscorer. The 5 km is open to runners aged 11 and over, while the 10 km requires a minimum age of 15. On-site registration takes place at McLouds Tables Cafe, with parking available in the Dunvegan Castle car park. A water station serves 10 km runners at the 5 km mark, with additional water at the finish. Prize giving follows in the cafe. Headphones are not permitted on the route for safety reasons.
