About Race for Life Exeter
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life event comes to Exeter on 17 July 2027, taking place at Westpoint showground in Clyst St. Mary. Participants can choose between a 10k route, run as two laps of 5k, or a shorter distance option. The courses mix road, tarmac pathways and grass, with the start and finish on tarmac within the showground.
The terrain includes paths and fields around the showground. Underfoot conditions vary with the weather; grass and ground sections may become soft or muddy in wet conditions, and the start and finish areas are slightly sloped and uneven. The venue offers refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. Blue Badge parking is available approximately 160 metres from the event site, with general parking and drop-off within Westpoint. The event is wheelchair accessible with assistance.
