About Race for Life Lincoln 10k
Taking place on 17 July 2027, Race for Life Pretty Muddy Lincoln is a 5km obstacle course held at Lincolnshire Showground in Grange-de-Lings. Runners tackle a double-lap route that combines grass, paths and tarmac sections, negotiating a series of obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding. Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes throughout the day.
The start and finish sit on grassland within the showground, a short walk from the car park. The terrain can become soft and muddy in wet weather. Marshals are positioned to assist participants with obstacles. Toilets and refreshments are available on site, and blue badge parking is provided on the grass car park. Wheelchair access may require assistance due to long grass sections and uneven ground, and pushchairs are not suitable for the course.
Organised by Cancer Research UK, the event asks participants to fundraise with a minimum target of £50. Entrants receive a fundraising pack, customisable back sign, training information and a finishers medal.
