About Race for Life Poole 10k
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Poole is a 5 km obstacle course taking place on 29 May 2027 at Baiter Park in Poole, Dorset. Participants navigate a marked trail that combines grass and tarmac with muddy obstacles, climbing, crawling and sliding their way around a looped course that passes through Poole Park, under the railway line, and into Whitecliff Recreational Ground and Harbourside Park.
The event runs in staggered waves at 15-minute intervals, with all participants starting and finishing on grass at Baiter Park. The ground is flat but may become muddy depending on weather conditions. Refreshments and toilets are available on site. Parking is limited around the venue, with spaces at Harbourside 1 and 2; Poole railway station is a 16-minute walk away and bus routes serve the area. The event is not suitable for pushchairs, dogs or wheelchair users.
