About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Derby
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life Pretty Muddy returns to Derby on 5 June 2027, bringing a 5 km obstacle course to Markeaton Park. Participants navigate a mixture of terrains with climbing, crawling and sliding obstacles interspersed with muddy sections, starting and finishing on the grass field at the park's centre.
The course welcomes walkers, joggers and runners aged 13 and over, with waves departing every 15 minutes. Marshals are positioned throughout, and obstacles can be skipped if preferred. The event takes place at Markeaton Park, DE22 4AA, with parking available at Mundy Play Centre and University of Derby Kedleston Road car parks (both roughly a 10-minute walk away), plus Blue Badge spaces about 500 m from the site. Refreshments and toilets are on-site.
