About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Milton Keynes
Race for Life Pretty Muddy brings its 5k obstacle course to Willen Lake in Milton Keynes on 5 June 2027. Participants aged 13 and over tackle a route that combines tarmacked paths with grass sections, featuring obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding. The event runs in waves every 15 minutes, with marshals positioned throughout the course to support runners.
The start and finish take place on grass between the splash park and play area. The course is mainly accessible via tarmac, though conditions may soften in wet weather. On-site facilities include toilets, parking at the Willen Lake car parks (with blue badge parking available in Car Park B, approximately 200m away on tarmac), and refreshments. Bike racks are located next to Car Park B. Children aged 12 and under can participate in separate Pretty Muddy Kids events.
