About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Newcastle
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Newcastle takes place on the Town Moor near Exhibition Park on 10 July 2027. This 5 km obstacle course welcomes participants aged 13 and over, with a separate programme available for younger children. The flat mixed-terrain course uses paths, road and grass sections, starting and finishing on grass.
Participants can skip any obstacles they choose, and marshals are positioned throughout. Wave starts run every 15 minutes, allowing groups to register together. The event includes on-site refreshments and toilets. Note that the site is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for pushchairs, and grass areas may become muddy in wet weather. Dogs are not permitted.
For travel, Jesmond Metro is around 15 minutes' walk away, or Newcastle Central Station about 26 minutes. Bus stops serve Great North Road, and pedestrian access is via gates from the same road. No event parking is available; city centre car parks or limited roadside parking on Claremont Road should be used instead.
