Race for Life Pretty Muddy Norwich takes place on 8 May 2027 at the Norfolk Showground, a 5 km trail obstacle course designed to challenge and entertain in equal measure. Participants navigate a relatively flat route combining pathways and grass within the showground, encountering climbs, crawls and slides along the way. Those who prefer to skip obstacles can do so with marshals on hand to help.

The course starts and finishes in the main arena, a short walk from the Dereham Gate entrance. Wave starts are staggered at 15 minute intervals throughout the day. The event welcomes participants aged 13 and over; younger children have their own dedicated Pretty Muddy Kids events. On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets, parking and a bag drop, though showers are not available. The start and finish areas are on grass which may become soft or muddy depending on weather conditions.
