About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Plymouth

This 5km trail event at Central Park combines hardstanding, fine gravel pathways and grass sections, with the course starting on firm ground opposite the Plymouth Life Centre and finishing on grass within the park. Participants should be prepared for thick underfoot conditions, particularly as grass sections can become soft or muddy depending on the weather. The event uses wave starts spaced 15 minutes apart, with groups encouraged to book the same wave.

Organised by Cancer Research UK as a fundraising event, Race for Life Pretty Muddy welcomes participants aged 13 and over. On-site facilities include toilets and refreshments. Parking is limited but the nearby Milehouse Park & Ride offers free parking with accessible bays and EV charging available. Blue Badge spaces and a drop-off area are also provided close to the start. Marshals are positioned on the course to offer support, and participants have the option to skip obstacles if needed. Note that dogs, bag drop facilities and showers are not available, and the event's terrain makes it unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
