About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Portsmouth
A flat 5km trail course winds around Southsea Common and Castle Field on 8 May 2027, taking in views of Ladies Mile. The Pretty Muddy obstacle course includes climbing, crawling and sliding challenges set across the grass fields adjacent to Clarence Esplanade.
Participants aged 13 and over navigate staggered start waves every 15 minutes. Everyone who completes the course receives a medal, along with a fundraising pack, customisable back sign and access to the Race for Life community. Refreshments and toilets are available on site, and Blue Badge parking can be found on surrounding roads approximately 300 metres away. Portsmouth & Southsea train station serves the area.
