About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Reading
This 5km trail obstacle event takes runners across grass terrain dotted with steep slopes and woodland sections throughout Prospect Park in Reading. The course challenges participants to climb, crawl and slide around a series of obstacles, with the start and finish set on a central grass field. Ground conditions can be uneven and may soften in wet weather.
Waves of runners set off every 15 minutes to manage flow around the course. The event is open to participants aged 13 and over, with separate Pretty Muddy Kids events available for younger children. Parking is available on site, with Blue Badge spaces on hardstanding roughly 50 metres from the event, and the location is accessible by bus routes 1, 143 and 33, or a 15 minute walk from Reading West train station. Cycle racks are available near the artificial pitches.
