About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Sandwell
This Pretty Muddy 5k takes runners across a mix of grass, paths and woodland at Sandwell Valley Country Park, with multiple obstacles dotted throughout the roughly five-kilometre course. The terrain can turn soft or muddy depending on the weather, and participants are free to skip any obstacles they encounter.
The event runs on Saturday 12 June 2027 with staggered wave starts every 15 minutes. Marshals are positioned on course to offer support. Runners must be at least 13 years old; younger children can take part in separate Pretty Muddy Kids events organised by Cancer Research UK.
