About Race for Life Pretty Muddy Watford
Pretty Muddy Watford takes participants around a 5 km obstacle course at Cassiobury Park, where they'll climb, crawl and slide through a series of challenges. The largely flat course winds through tree-line paths and grass avenues, with a starting point on the slope near the Lebanon Tree car park entrance. In wet conditions, the ground may become soft or muddy underfoot.
Waves of runners set off every 15 minutes to manage the flow around the course, and marshals are stationed throughout. Participants aged 13 and over can take part, with a separate Pretty Muddy Kids event available for younger children. Anyone who finds an obstacle too difficult can skip it. The event takes place on 12 June 2027.
