This 5 km Pretty Muddy event at Royal Windsor Racecourse combines trail running with obstacle challenges, making it suited to those wanting to test themselves on a course with climbing, crawling and sliding elements. The route winds between the racetrack and the River Thames, taking in tarmac, hardstanding, gravel and grass sections. Participants should be prepared for narrow stretches and potential congestion at certain points, whilst grass sections may become slippery in wet weather.

Staggered wave starts every 15 minutes help manage the flow around the course. Marshals are on hand throughout, and skipping obstacles is permitted if needed. The event welcomes participants aged 13 and over. The racecourse site offers free parking and is served by local bus routes, with Windsor and Eton Riverside and Windsor and Eton Central train stations roughly 35 minutes' walk away. Refreshments and toilets are available on site, though dogs are not permitted and pushchairs are not suitable for the terrain.
