About Race for Life Reading 10k
Race for Life Reading hosts a 10 km trail run through Prospect Park on 6 June 2027. The route starts and finishes on grass near the park's tennis courts and cafe, taking in woodland sections with some steep slopes and a maximum ascent of 71 metres. The terrain is predominantly grassy with uneven ground in places; wet weather may make these areas muddy and soft underfoot.
Parking is available on site, with additional pay and display options at Meadway Shopping Centre. Blue Badge spaces, cycle racks and drop-off access are provided near the park entrances. Reading West train station is about a 15-minute walk away, and several local bus routes serve the area. Refreshments and toilets are available during the event. The course uses chip timing.
