About Race for Life Watford
A 10 km trail run through Watford's Cassiobury Park, this Race for Life event on 12 June 2027 combines woodland trails with tree-lined paths and grass avenues across terrain that is largely flat. The course follows the 5 km route twice, starting and finishing on grass near the park car park by the Lebanon Tree. Participants should be prepared for potentially soft or muddy underfoot conditions in wet weather, particularly on the grass sections.
The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and welcomes runners of all abilities. Dogs are permitted, and the site is suitable for pushchairs and accessible to wheelchair users with assistance. Facilities include refreshments, toilets, a bag drop and bike racks near the park hub and tennis courts. Watford Underground station is approximately 5 minutes' walk away, whilst Watford Junction overground station is around 25 minutes on foot. Blue badge parking is available on event day with steward support.
