About Race Over the Glen
Race Over the Glen is a 10-kilometre trail race taking place on 1 January 2027 in Mid and East Antrim. The event starts at noon from Glenariff Forest, with registration opening at the Visitors Centre from 09:30. Pre-race registration is also available on 27 December.
This is a technical and challenging route suited to runners already comfortable covering 10km on the road and confident on demanding terrain. Participants should be prepared to follow marshals' instructions and exit the course if advised for safety reasons. Weather permitting, prize giving and light refreshments will follow the race.
