Ranger Ultras Peak District South&North offers participants a choice of distances across two days of trail running in the High Peak. The 43 km stage covers the southern White Peak on day one, while the 50 km stage explores the northern Dark Peak on day two. Those seeking a longer challenge can tackle both stages for a combined 93 km ultra, starting and finishing in Edale Village Hall. The route traverses tree-lined valleys, high moorland, plateau terrain and gritstone edges during late autumn and winter conditions, with mixed navigation challenges throughout.

The event operates with generous cut-off times and is supported by a Ranger Safety Team stationed at headquarters, road heads and hilltop locations. Race headquarters hospitality is based at The Peak Centre in Edale, where pre-race registration and kit checks take place alongside evening food. Accommodation options are available in the village and surrounding area.
