About Rebel & Realm Marathon
The Rebel & Realm Marathon is Norfolk's first trail marathon, taking runners and walkers through a largely traffic-free route on 10 April 2027. The course weaves together the Boudicca Way and Angles Way with local footpaths, passing through Scole, Brockdish, Harleston and Pulham Market before returning to the start and finish point at Hope Church in Diss, a short walk from Diss train station.
The event is open to both runners and walkers and is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs under UK Athletics rules. Aid stations are positioned along the course, and chip timing and GPS tracking are available. Prizes go to the first three finishers in the Female and Male/Open categories. The inaugural race also forms part of both the Boghopper Tankard qualification and a new Marathon Series Medal.
