Richmond Castle 10K is a scenic 10K road race organised by Swaledale Runners, taking place on 11 October 2026 in Richmond, North Yorkshire. Starting and finishing at The Batts riverside park beneath Richmond Castle, the certified course showcases the historic market town and surrounding countryside, with runners encountering views of the River Swale waterfalls and climbing Sleegill before tackling the return leg through Catterick Garrison and a fast downhill finish.
The race is run under UK Athletics rules and chip timed, with distance markers positioned throughout. A water station sits at the 5K mark, and first aid and bag drop facilities are available. Almost entirely on road, the route features only a very short grass section near the start and finish. All finishers receive a commemorative T-shirt.
