About Richmond Park Half Marathon - London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
The Richmond Park Half Marathon takes runners on a 13.1-mile trail route through one of London's most distinctive green spaces. Starting and finishing at Sheen Gate, the course follows a predominantly clockwise loop that incorporates sections of the Tamsin Trail, park roads and woodland paths, passing landmarks including Richmond Gate, Duchess Wood, White Lodge, Spankers Hill Wood, Robin Hood Gate, Broomfield Hill, Ladderstile Gate, Dark Hill and Ham Gate Pond.
Water and food are available at aid stations at Broomfield Hill and near Ham Gate. The route includes road crossings where care with traffic is needed. Runners receive an on-the-day information sheet and course map ahead of the event. The half marathon takes place on 23 August 2026 and is UK Athletics affiliated.
