About Richmond Runfest Marathon
The Richmond Runfest Marathon takes runners on a scenic 26.2-mile trail journey along the Thames Path on 13 September 2026. The route begins in Kew Gardens and heads downstream towards Teddington Lock, following much of the same path as the associated half marathon. From there, the course crosses Kingston Bridge to Hampton Wick, loops through grounds alongside the river, and returns via Canbury Gardens and Ham House before finishing back where it started.
This London-based marathon offers trail running with the Thames as a constant companion, taking in several riverside locations between Kew and Teddington.
