About Ridgeway Run
Held across footpaths and bridgeways in the Chilterns, the Ridgeway Run takes runners through some distinctive countryside around Dacorum. Starting on the outskirts of Tring, the 15 km trail route passes the Bridgewater Monument, winds through the Ashridge Estate and along a section of the Ridgeway path itself, before climbing Pitstone Hill and returning toward Tring Cricket Club.
Established by Tring Running Club in 1982, the event runs under UK Athletics rules with a Trail Running Association permit. The course is fully marshalled, and the Cricket Club hosts changing facilities with showers and post-race refreshments. The race takes place on 11 October 2026 with a limit of 650 participants.
