About River Relay 26.2
This relay spans 26.2 miles across five stages, following riverside paths and trails alongside the Thames from Boveney near Windsor to Bushy Park in Teddington. Each runner covers between 4.7 and 6.5 miles on terrain that mixes riverside trails with minor roads, making navigation part of the challenge with minimal marshalling away from the changeover points.
Teams of five take on consecutive legs of this point-to-point route, welcoming running clubs, corporate groups and friends keen to work together across mixed abilities. The event has a longstanding tradition of supporting charities nominated by participating teams.
