About Romero Run
The Romero Run takes runners along coastal trails and through tree-lined grounds on flat terrain around Goring-by-Sea. Organised by Raw Energy Pursuits, the event on Sunday 13 June 2027 offers both 5 km and 10 km distances, with routes incorporating pavements, seaside paths and The Plantation avenue, plus three temporary crossing points.
Based at Oscar Romero School in Worthing, the event supports Friends of Romero charity. A children's 2.5 km run also forms part of a three-race series with events at Angmering and Ferring during 2027. All finishers receive medals and complimentary photos, with race numbers issued on the day.
