About Ross On Wye 10K Riverbank Run
The Ross On Wye 10K Riverbank Run takes place on 6 September 2026 at the Rowing Club in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. Runners can choose between a 10 kilometre route or a shorter 5 kilometre option, both following trails near the River Wye. The courses are multi-terrain and off-road, running through flat terrain that may include grass and mud depending on conditions.
The 10K is limited to 300 entrants with a minimum age of 15, while the 5K accepts runners aged 11 and above (also capped at 300). Both distances use chip timing and offer prizes for the top three finishers in male and female categories, with the 10K including age-category prizes across five-year bands from under-20 upwards. A Fun Run for younger children is also part of the programme. The event runs under UK Athletics rules with full medical cover in place. Water stations are positioned on the course and at the finish, and toilets are available at the venue.
