About Rothwell Kebabathon
Rothwell Kebabathon takes place at Leeds Skelton Lake Services, with the start located behind the services. Participants can choose between 6.7 miles and 20 miles of trail running or walking, taking in Rothwell Country Park via woodland, riverside paths and grass trail. The route includes a short road section and one undulation offering views across to Leeds City Centre. Both distances are TRA licensed and a 6.5-hour cut-off applies to all participants.
Water and feed stations are positioned roughly every 3 miles, with marshals supporting the course. Participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle as the event operates on a cupless basis. The finish provides hot and cold drinks alongside kebabs and a bespoke medal. Free parking is available on site with marshals directing vehicles, and car sharing is encouraged. Each entry includes a 50p donation to the RSPB. The event runs on 15 November 2026.
