About Round Sheffield Run Winter Edition
On 9 January 2027, Round Sheffield Run: Winter takes runners through Endcliffe Park and Sheffield's green spaces via an 11-stage trail running format. Participants can choose between a 20 km course made up of timed stages, or the full 24.5 km route. Runners compete as individuals or pairs, with pairs required to complete all stages together.
Each stage is separately timed, with untimed sections between them for walking or regrouping. Staggered starts mean competitors will typically see other runners on course throughout the event. Stage-by-stage results and combined overall times are recorded. An Elite Wave offers limited places for runners meeting a qualifying 5 km standard. The minimum age for entry is 15.
