About Rumble In The Jumble V
Rumble In The Jumble V returns to Sheffield's JH Wood on 23 August 2026 for its fifth edition. This timed trail event gives runners the freedom to choose their own distance within a six-hour window, with options ranging from 5 km up to 32 miles. The out-and-back route follows a disused railway line, offering a traffic-free path through the local landscape.
Participants can start their final lap up until 5:59:59, allowing those who began before the cut-off to finish beyond the six-hour mark. Aid stations positioned at the end of each lap provide water, squash, fizzy drinks and snacks. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities and ages, giving anyone the chance to test their endurance on their own terms. Free parking is available, with Penistone train station located just 0.3 miles away.
