About Run Bournemouth Saturday
Run Bournemouth Saturday offers a 5K road race alongside shorter junior events, all taking place on the Bournemouth seafront on 10 October 2026. The main Supernova 5K runs at dusk along the promenade, passing Bournemouth Pier before finishing near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens.
Younger runners have their own dedicated distances as part of the same afternoon and evening programme. The Junior 2K caters for ages 9 to 12, the Junior 1.5K for ages 6 to 8, and the Kids' Kilometre for ages 3 to 6. All races use routes around the coastal landmarks of the promenade, pier and Lower Gardens.
