About Run Cheltenham
Run Cheltenham takes runners on a road-based tour of Prestbury and the surrounding area on 20 September 2026, with two distances to choose from: a 10 km route or a half marathon covering 13.1 miles. Both courses start and finish at Cheltenham Racecourse, passing through some of the town's notable areas including Montpellier and Lansdown, alongside Regency architecture and tree-lined streets.
The event is designed to appeal to runners of all levels, whether pursuing a personal best or tackling a new distance for the first time. Finishers receive a medal, with half marathon and 10K participants also given a T-shirt. The finish takes place inside the racecourse grandstand.
