Run Forest Run - Minnowburn takes place on 31 October 2026 in Belfast, combining trail running with a winter atmosphere. Starting and finishing at Mary Peters Track, the route winds through forest trails, country roads and Minnowburn National Trust property before returning along the banks of the Lagan.
Two distances are on offer, with the 5K subject to a 55-minute cut-off to allow the track to be cleared for the subsequent race. The route takes in the athletics track itself as part of the loop. Toilets and showers are available at the venue, and parking is free though limited. There are no water stations on the course, so runners should carry their own hydration.
