About Run to Wine x Greyfriars Vineyard
Run to Wine x Greyfriars Vineyard takes runners on a social trail route through a Surrey vineyard and onto the North Downs near Guildford. The 8 km main loop is designed as a relaxed, chatty run with a few inclines that the group walks together, while a 5 km option is also available. Trail shoes are recommended for the varied terrain.
The event finishes at the winery, where participants receive lunch and a glass of English sparkling wine followed by a guided tasting from the Greyfriars team. A bag drop is provided at the venue. The vineyard is close to Guildford train station, approximately 8 minutes by taxi, and the venue team may assist with return lifts where possible. The run takes place on 25 October 2026 and will go ahead in wet weather.
