About Run Winchcombe
Run Winchcombe takes place on 30 August 2026 within the grounds of Sudeley Castle near Winchcombe in the Cotswolds. The event offers trail running across three distances: a 10 km route that heads towards the ancient burial site of Belas Knap before returning to the castle, a 5 km combining undulating parkland with quiet country lanes, and a 1 km children's race on the grassy fields behind the castle.
The event welcomes runners of all ages and abilities and is organised in support of local charities through the Winchcombe Show. The predominantly trail routes explore the historic castle estate and surrounding countryside, creating a family-friendly late summer fixture in the Gloucestershire running calendar.
