About Runable - The Half & Half
Suited to runners who enjoy mixed-terrain racing, The Half & Half splits its 10 km route between contrasting landscapes. The first half takes participants over rugged, muddy trails with natural obstacles and varied footing, before the second half transitions to tarmac for a smoother return journey to the finish at Sowerby Bridge Pool on Station Road in Halifax.
The one-way, fully marked course is designed to keep navigation simple, allowing runners to focus on the terrain changes rather than route-finding. Numbers are limited to 100 participants. The event takes place on 24 January 2027 and is open to those aged 18 and over.
