About Runaway Racing Invitational 10K
Runaway Racing rounds off its 2026 season with an invitational 10K trail championship at Wendover Woods near Aston Clinton. This is a competition for those who've earned their place through strong performances in Runaway Racing events during the year, plus age category winners and volunteers. The 10 km route climbs and descends through forest terrain with approximately 295 metres of elevation gain.
The course is marked with orange arrows and ribbons, with marshals stationed at key turning points, so navigation is straightforward. Runners must be at least 16 years old. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UKA rules, with chip timing, live results, and a bag drop service available. The field is limited to 200 runners.
