About Running Events Devon - Choo-Choo Challenge
Taking place on Monday 31 August 2026, the Choo-Choo Challenge is a timed trail race in West Devon. The 5.3 km course follows an old disused train line at Station Road, Bridestowe, featuring a mix of off-road and paved sections with undulating terrain. Runners can complete as many laps as they wish within the time limit, with each lap returning to the start and finish point.
The event operates with two separate start waves, each with its own time allowance. Participants aged 18 and over can run anywhere from a single lap up to 14 laps depending on their pace and endurance. Places are strictly limited to 70 runners.
