About Running Wild - Brentwood
Running Wild takes participants on a 5 km trail obstacle course at Kelvedon Hall near Brentwood on 3 July 2027. The event combines climbing, crawling, sliding and splashing through a series of water and mud-based challenges designed to test different abilities.
Organised in partnership with Nuclear Races, the event welcomes anyone aged 13 and over (under-18s must be accompanied by an adult). While some swimming ability is helpful, it is not essential; buoyancy vests and a water safety team support participants through water sections. On-course instructors offer adaptations to suit different groups, ensuring the experience is accessible to all. Post-race facilities include hot showers and parking on site.
The event is a fundraiser for Essex Wildlife Trust's conservation work.
