About RunThrough Trails South Downs
RunThrough Trails South Downs takes runners through Queen Elizabeth Country Park in the South Downs National Park on 1 August 2027. The trail course winds across rolling hills, ancient woodland and open chalk downland, incorporating sections of the South Downs Way. Expect grassy tracks and woodland paths punctuated by climbs that give way to views across Hampshire and Sussex, alongside fast-flowing descents.
Navigation support includes waymarking with trail flags, tags, A5 arrows and signage throughout, plus a GPX file for participants to reference during the race. Marshals are stationed at major junctions and aid stations are positioned along the route. An event village offers food and drink, with post-race provisions also available.
