About Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race One
Set within Rye Harbour Nature Reserve on the East Sussex coast, this May bank holiday event offers runners a choice of 5 km or 10 km road distances. The courses are routed across flat terrain on smooth tarmac, passing through the reserve's distinctive landscapes of shingle ridges, saltmarsh and reed beds. Known for quick running conditions, the routes attract both experienced runners seeking fast times and those newer to the sport looking to build confidence over familiar ground.
